DEFINITION - A managed service provider (MSP) platform is a computing framework used to deliver network-based services, applications, and equipment to enterprises, residences, or other service providers. A MSP platform allows an organization, IT consultant or VAR to remotely monitor servers, firewalls, Exchange servers, Active Directory Servers, routers or switches from a central location.
